Insulation measures in Dutch housing, 1982-2001

Developments

The number of homes with all the various insulation measures continues to increase steadily with the years. A significant proportion of this increase results from the construction of approximately 70,000 to 90,000 well-insulated new homes annually. Double glazing is the most common type of insulation. More than a quarter of the housing stock has double glazing as well as wall, roof and floor insulation. By contrast, 6% of homes have no insulation at all.
