Guidance The recognisability of valuable areas

Index The recognisability of valuable areas section

Introduction

The most valuable Dutch landscapes in international and national terms are those whose evolutionary history is still recognisable from their elements and patterns. Three criteria have been used to select these landscapes: the international significance of Dutch landscapes, the trend in deterioration or degree of deterioration and the rarity at national scale.

This section shows the results of the selection.
