Guidance Recovery of biodiversity

Index section Recovery of biodiversity

Introduction

Biodiversity is continuously changing. Some species that had disappeared from the Netherlands have since returned. Other endangered species have increased in numbers in response to certain measures. They include common butterwort, cormorant, bats, wall lizard and barn owl. See also e.g. Threats of species and biodiversity

Besides, in response to the drawing up and execution of species protection plans the number of certain species and groups of species have increased. See also: Protected species.
